Sleepout

Apparently nobody has started a sleepout thing on the forum...?

Well, I just wanted to suggest a movie.

I think we should also watch a disney movie.. Lion King?

if we r watching a disney movie and im not sure we should, it should definitely be the road to el dorado

i think we should watch a disney film, cause it'll probably be more safe and for parents it is easily distinguished and accepted

Agree with Chris here, but what should we show? It shouldn't be anything overly lame otherwise everyone would hate us... Something that is amusing and/or interesting would be good. Any suggestions? (I'm not a Disney freak, I wouldn't know.)

We should do something classical like Lion King, something which everybody Loves

1.Beauty and the Beast (maybe guys will get turned off but hey if you have girls around why not endure it a little)

5.The Nightmare Before Christmas (PLEAASE VOTE THIS ONE)

Also, Mulan is pretty cool.

I think we might go with Olga's suggestion - we'll bring a heap of movies to the sleepout and have a vote there? Any comments?

Well I know bringing a whole heap is easier in some aspects, but I think that with things like this you can't give people a choice, because then whoever doesn't get theirs gets angry.
The decision has to be made before the evening begins.

Good point, but then we need to figure out how to choose the movie. I don't want to have to argue over it... Is there some way we can come to a decision?

err just do a vote at the next SRC meeting,
or go with olga's suggestion seems the best to me....

Just let Pagani do it.
Tell him to go down to Civic and find a movie he thinks is suitable for the night.
That way students have no say, so everyone is as pleased or disappointed as each other, and the only person we can blame is him.
