We need to begin brainstorming questions ASAP.

Leya and I will be taking care of the activities in between each round such as SAMURAI SUDOKU LADDD YEAHHH etc.

We need to pick which subjects we will base the rounds on.
e.g.

geography
history
literature
sports
music
history of fort street?
general knowledge
random?

Feel free to add any other categories I've probably missed.

If you're really desperate to put in a really great question you've thought of, here's your chance to reveal it to everyone, don't be scared.

Ok please reply ASAP because this is probably the most important part of the night.
If there are no questions then there's no trivia.

Good ideas for rounds Harriet, but you might want to cut down a little. Bear in mind that we have only about 2 hours for the entire night, including people coming in, all of the questions and in between activies, organisation between rounds and the announcements at the end. And remember that everything will take longer than you think!

When you've come up with the number of rounds, questions per round (and the actual questions I suppose), and the in between activities, try and write up a time plan, and try to keep it under 1 and a half hours. That way we have enough time for other things that we might need to do. Cheers guys.

under each topic, we could have like a where am i, who am i type questions like famous places or people to do with each topic?

How does 4 rounds, 10 questions each sound?

That sounds good as a starting point, start working on those first. If you find you've got more space to fill you might be able to add a round or two. But I think 10 questions per round is perfect.

With the inbetween games there should be a Sudoku, Name A Face (I can help) of two different generes e.g. Pop Culture and Brands/Sportspeople etc.

I think the first priority for you guys is to sort out the topics and which rounds they get allocated to, and then all of the in between activities. Then you should write up your time plan so that you know how when everything will happen, fitting it into 1.5 hours. After you've done that, then you can start getting cracking on the actual questions and activities, but first you need to get the plan done. Good work so far though, all very good ideas.

So how many question categories are there? (Sorry if it's been mentioned before.)
About the forum... why do people have funny names? How do you expect me to know who you are?

I think we decided 5 rounds, 10 questions each, and activities between each round, or like 2 or 3.
I think the topics are geography, pop culture, general knowledge, sport and umm, was it literature? Or was it something else. Oh man instead of literature we should have a round of riddles, like, general ability or something. Ask them word puzzles and like, brainteasers and shit. Mess with them. That'd be fun.

Also I agree with you Leya, the world is easier when people's usernames are related to their actual names.

Sport, Pop Culture, Geography, General knowledge and SUPERMODELS. Lol jks I'd love that but we can't. A lot of people are eager for a Fort Street round? The only problem is finding 10 questions about Fort Street.

One of the activities in between the rounds can have pictures of supermodels and you have to name them, amirite?

Yuna would rejoice if that was the case, it would be too hard to name that many people. We can just have a famous people one where some of them can be supermodels. Would that satisfy you Harriet?

Supermodels alone is a bad idea. Consider the people who will be actually answering the questions, it'll be a mixutre of parents, students and teachers. Only a handful of each would recognise faces and be able to put a name. So we should just make it 'Famous Faces' in general. And yeah I think this should just be a filler sheet inbetween/during rounds. So everyone on the team would be engaged.

Pop culture is a goooood idea. We should make it fun by splitting it and including pop culture from three generations, like Talkin' Bout Your Generation. That'd be rad.

I also think we should combine History and Geography into one round. Personally I find that geography questions get really annoying. And basic history is something everyone should have some idea of.

General knowledge is a good idea. You could fit in anything.

Sport is a decent idea too. Perhaps we should have another round which is like a subject. Like Maths or Science or something. It'd be lols.
