Maybe you can ask the PE staff if they have any generic ribbons with 1st, 2nd and 3rd so that you can write people's names on them, if you really want ribbons. They are probably a bit lame though.

I asked Mr Fischer today, they only have 'Fort Street Cross Country' ribbons so unless you think it's fine to write over that or something...
